I’m Jemma, a L3 PT & Strongwoman Coach & I’m here to help.

My journey into strength started outside the gym - it started in the mud of a Rugby pitch.

Coming to Rugby as an adult, I realised very quickly that everything I did off the pitch supported me to become my very best on it. I had wandered in & out of gyms for years, but never felt like I knew what I was doing. Several years later, during COVID, I worked with a coach & discovered the value of having a proper plan. This was when I ditched the fad diets, truly fell in love with the gym & dropped 30kg in a healthy & sustainable way.

But like many women, my relationship with my body hasn’t always been straightforward. I’ve battled crash diet culture, bullying for my size & hormone issues (Endometriosis & PCOS) that affected my energy, weight, and confidence, and that experience completely reshaped how I approach training and health. Learning to manage these has led to my passion for helping other women get the most out of their bodies too.

In 2021, my now husband introduced me to Strongwoman, which became a real joy for me — not just for the plastic trophies, but for what it represents. Strength is about building a body that supports your life, your goals, and your confidence and I resonated with that deeply.

In 2024, I qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer & began educating myself more to help women like me, then in January 2025 I qualified as a Level 1 Strongman coach & launched StrongWithJem - to help more women like me achieve their goals in the healthiest way possible, physically & mentally. I also launched StrongGirlClub, to get women of all shapes, sizes and abilities having a go at strongman in a fun & safe way.
